Compare
Any two versions, side by side.
Text diffs down to the word, a swipe for images, changed cells for spreadsheets.
The drive that remembers.
A cloud drive where every change is a version. Go back to any version, compare, restore, and undo it.
Works with AI agents over MCP01 · How it works
Nothing to configure. Versioning is on from the first file you drop in, and it covers the whole drive, not just single documents.
Drag in files or whole folders. Only blocks the drive hasn't seen are sent.
Every upload, rename, move or delete is one version of the whole drive.
Scrub the timeline and the whole drive shows itself as it was.
Bring back a file, a folder or everything. Or share a live or pinned link.
Every version from the last 7 days, your newest 50 always, and checkpoints forever.
02 · Time travel
Not a backup you hope works. The history is the drive: browse it, compare it, bring it back.

Restore
Restore a file, a folder or the whole drive. The restore is a version too, so you can undo it or restore again from the timeline.
launch.pdf3.9 MB · v44
Shows launch.pdf as it is now, every time.
Share
A live link always shows the latest. A pinned link shows exactly the version you picked.
Duplicate Studio at v38 · Tue 14:08
Duplicate
Duplicate a drive as it is now, or as it was on Tuesday. The copy is ready at once.
03 · AI agents over MCP
KDRIVE is an MCP server. Connect an agent with OAuth or an agent token and choose what it may do. Suggestions wait in a review inbox until you accept them.

04 · Everything else
One quiet object for everything. What peeks out of the folder tells you what is inside before you open it.
Every change is a version, marked with who made it: you or an agent.
Name a moment ("before launch") and come back to it by name.
Deleted files and folders come back from one list, where they were.
Drop whole folders; they arrive nested exactly as they were on your disk.
Open any file's own history: every kept version, who made it and when.
Search with / or ⌘K, jump to the timeline with h, see every shortcut with ?.
05 · Under the hood
Every drive is a Platinum volume: durable, versioned storage. Versions live in the volume itself, a duplicate is a fork of it, and an upload sends only what is new.
Versions and checkpoints live in the volume itself, not in a copy beside it.
Duplicating a drive at any point is a fork of the volume, not a copy of every byte.
Files are split into 1 MiB blocks. A block the drive already holds is never sent again.

06 · FAQ
Any change to the drive: an upload, a rename, a move, a delete, a restore. One action is one version of the whole drive, so dropping 200 files at once is one version. Each version records who made it: you, or an agent you connected.
Every version from the last 7 days, your newest 50 always, and checkpoints until you remove them.
Yes. A restore is a version like any other, so you can undo it. If later changes touched the same files, KDRIVE won't overwrite them; restore from the timeline instead.
It goes to Recently deleted for 7 days, where you can restore it. Its earlier versions stay in the timeline for as long as retention keeps them.
A live link shows the latest. A pinned link shows one version and never changes. Links can expire after 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or a date you pick, or never.
KDRIVE is an MCP server. Add its URL to any client that speaks MCP over HTTP and sign in with OAuth, or create an agent token for scripts; a token lasts 30, 90 or 365 days and you can revoke it at any time. You choose read only, suggest changes or make changes, and whether changes wait for your review.
An agent that suggests changes can't change anything until you accept. An agent that makes changes directly writes versions marked with its name, and you can undo them or restore an earlier version. You can lower its access or disconnect it at any time.
10 GB to start, and 100 GB with Plus or 1 TB with Pro (see Pricing). It counts what your drives hold now: past versions and checkpoints don't use it. A duplicate counts as a drive of its own.
The durable, versioned storage KDRIVE is built on. Each drive is one volume; versions, checkpoints and duplicates are features of the volume itself.
Start with 10 GB. Versioning is on from your first upload.
